We were commissioned to design and deliver a secure, automated vehicle access solution for a busy chemical manufacturing plant with two separate vehicle entrances. The primary objectives were to improve site security, increase operational efficiency, and minimise the time entrances remained open during vehicle movements.

Working closely with the client, we developed a bespoke solution tailored to the site’s operational and security requirements.

Entrances One & Two

Both entrances had a fully compliant 7-metre clear opening double-leaf bi-folding gate which was designed, manufactured in-house, and installed. The gates were fitted with monitored motorised drop-bolt locking mechanisms to provide enhanced security and operational reliability.

The gate system was integrated with a fully compliant 7-metre automatic barrier featuring both top and bottom grilles. The automatic barriers were incorporated to reduce the amount of time the entrance remained open while vehicles were entering and exiting the facility, thereby improving security and traffic flow.
